Trade Remedy, AD/CVD

Like most countries, the United States has enacted Trade Remedy laws to prevent unfair practices such as dumping and subsidization. According to the U.S. International Trade Commission, U.S. industries may petition the government for relief from imports that are sold at less than fair value ("dumped") or that receive countervailable subsidies through foreign government programs ("subsidized"). Additionally, laws such as the Enforce and Protect Act of 2015 (EAPA) have been passed to target duty evasion.

IWPA works with Members to educate them about best practices and the latest developments in this area of law.
