Alexandria, Virginia – The International Wood Products Association (IWPA) for the first time this fall will be offering three courses from its industry-leading Wood Trade Compliance Training via live online classes on the Zoom platform. IWPA will be offering three online courses for 2020: Advanced Wood Trade Compliance, Wood Products Supply Chain Mapping and Formaldehyde Emission Regulations. Each course will be taught for two hours per day from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time to facilitate participation by wood trade professionals across North America.

“IWPA’s courses have served as a critical tool to provide the training and resources for wood trade professionals to successfully fulfill their role in sourcing decisions,” said IWPA Executive Director Cindy Squires. “Our live, virtual courses will deliver the same intensive and interactive instruction on sourcing and compliance. These courses will equip attendees with due diligence tools that reflect the legal requirements and the industry’s need for flexibility to adjust their corporate standards and procedures based on the particular specifications of their product, the country of origin and the complexity of their supply chain.”
