IWPA Wins Silver Award in Association Trends 2010 All-Media Contest
Alexandria, Virginia – January 3, 2011: The International Wood Products Association has been honored with a silver award for Annual (or quarterly) Industry Publication in Association TRENDS’ 2010 All-Media Contest. It was one of more than 470 entries in the association publications contest.
Chris Paras, The Penrod Company, IWPA’s 2010/2011 president, commented, “We are so pleased to be in the winners’ circle. We’re proud of the great work our staff has put into media and communicating with our members. Staff continues to receive great feedback from the wood industry and the A&D community on how this publication inspires them to expand and incorporate imported wood products into their projects.”
The TRENDS All-Media Contest is an annual competition held exclusively for associations, recognizing the most creative and effective communication vehicles developed in the industry over the prior year. The 2010 competition included more than 470 entries in 27 categories of association communications.
IWPA will be honored at the 32nd Annual Salute to Association Excellence, to be held February 16, 2011 at the Capital Hilton in Washington DC. The winning entry will be on display at the event, along with the other winners. Association TRENDS is the national newspaper for association executives and suppliers, spotlighting the latest news, information and trends in association management for the professional staff of international, national, state, regional and local voluntary organizations. .
Distribution: More than 20,000 key decision makers involved in the design, specification, manufacture, distribution and retail of wood products for plywood, lumber, veneer, flooring, decking, and other lumber products receive the copy in print; .
